According to the "Management Measures for Group Standards of Wenzhou Plastic Industry Association", after evaluation by the Wenzhou Plastic Products Standardization Technical Committee, the "Recycled Polycarbonate (PC) Special Material for Plastic Home Appliance Shells" standard released by the World Expo New Materials meets the project approval conditions. The above standards are included in the first batch of Wenzhou Plastic Industry Association group standard approval plan in 2021.

Polycarbonate is colorless and transparent, heat-resistant, impact resistant, flame retardant BI grade, and has good mechanical properties within normal usage temperatures. Compared to polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate has good impact resistance, high refractive index, good processability, and UL94 V-2 flame retardancy without the need for additives. Due to its excellent and constant electrical insulation properties over a wide range of temperature and humidity, polycarbonate is an excellent insulation material. At the same time, its good flame retardancy and dimensional stability have formed a broad application field in the electronic and electrical industry.
Polycarbonate resin is mainly used in the production of various food processing machinery, electric tool casings, bodies, brackets, refrigerator freezer drawers, and vacuum cleaner parts. And for important components in computers, video recorders, and color televisions that require high precision, polycarbonate materials have also shown high practical value.
